Hironobu Sakaguchi A few days ago Hironobu Sakaguchi released his Japanese translation of the “Last Story” being his last game.  I guess my predictions were correct, and he is retiring. The memories, and the work he has done for the Final Fantasy series will never be forgotten. What he started on Nintendo with his First Final Fantasy game will end with his last game with Nintendo.

“The energy poured into this project by the development team and I are 120%. I’m hoping you can understand that, however on the other hand, I feel worried and nervous like sending my child on a trip alone. Emotionally it feels like this is my last work, while pouring everything I have gotten into this project. Never regret, but now “I’m enjoying”; furthermore, aiming towards completion. The sense of “This is it” relaxes my shoulders, its pleasant feeling to conduct an orchestra by the sense of my intuition.”

There is a saying that life is a circle. When you travel on that circle you build up your career, your goals, and achievements. You keep traveling on that circle experiencing life, and meeting new people. In order to find your legend you have to complete your circle without looking back or holding back. At the end of that circle you end up where you first started, but as a completed person.  Reminds me of “The Alchemist” novel by Paulo Coelho.  If you haven’t read it you should.
