Japanese gamers (Mostly PS3 users) are in an uproar after watching the trailer of The Last Story on the Wii. One of the Japanese blogs I read, they were voicing opinions for The Last Story to be in HD. Comments such as Last Story being HD for PS3, and not the Wii, Ps3 will sell more if made in HD, and some comments even go further by saying that the father of RPGs is selling out to family style consoles *ouch.  But who says that to the man who invented Final Fantasy?

I think it’s more of jealousy that times have shifted since the PS1 days when Final Fantasy VII made it’s debut. With Final Fantasy XIII taking a different route, and not having the creator on board, it changes a lot.  But now the creator Hironobu Sakaguchi is back with Nintendo, and he will make his Last Story just as he made his Final Fantasy games. There hasn’t been a Final Fantasy game on Nintendo’s console since the Snes days so this is a big deal for Nintendo, and for Mr. Sakaguchi.

“Without Hironobu Sakaguchi there is no Final Fantasy”.
