As a part of Japan’s promotion of Linkin Park’s “A Thousand Suns” album, Bandai’s released a limited edition Linkin Park Gundam, named the HGUC 1/144 RX-78GP01Fb Gundam GP01Fb Full Vernian “Linkin Park Edition.”

Anyone who’s familiar with Gundam will know that R-78 means this is a variation on the classic Gundam, from the original series Mobile Suit Gundam. The new Linkin Park single “The Catalyst” was used in the Japanese arcade game Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs, so it’s a bit of a cross promotion.

Personally I’m not a huge Linkin Park fan, and I think the Gundam variation needs a bit of color, but I’m sure those Japanese model Otaku will find something to do with it.
