The new Shenmue game will be revealed live today at 4:00pm Japan Time which is is 2am EST. Sega /Sunsoft will give details about the new mobile platform game with director Miyazaki Hiroyuki, and guest voice actor from the Shenmue series.

Update: For people who didn’t understand or missed the presentation. The new Shenmue game will be using Yahoo! Mobage. This is just a side story of the Shenmue series with a story mode, and missions. It will allow you to train your character in game to become a Kung Fu master. You will work to gain your own dojo, and compete in matches. You will be able to travel around the town like you did in the past Shenmue series such as visiting gaming centers, and taking various jobs.   So in other words it does keep with the original vision of Shenmue, but an MMO game for mobile, and PC users coming out this winter. It has a lot of promise, and it brings that nostalgic feeling into play. I can’t wait when it comes out.
