Capcom Japan released some brand new screenshots of their upcoming Super Street Fighter IV for 3Ds.
No wonder Capcom neglected the Wii for the 3Ds or either that they wanted Tatsunoko Vs Capcom to benefit on the sales. But hopefully in the near future they will port a Wii version.
Before we jump the gun this is not official. Below is the actual written discussion of ”someone” who attended the 70th shareholders meeting at the Nintendo Headquarters Kyoto, Japan on June 29th 2010. So if you were part of the general shareholders meeting then you already know.
Basically that “someone” overheard the discussion of Nintendo 3DS being priced at around 25,000 yen around $285 USD. It’s not final, and it’s still in talks since the 3DS is not complete. But I would think that’s a fair price with the given amount of hardware on the device. Thanks to my buddy from Japan for forwarding this email.
“ 3DSに関しては未だに仕様が固まっていない部分が多くて、発売までは時間がかかりそうだなと感じました。既に今年度発売の予定がアナウンスされてはいますが、ギリギリまで待つことになるかもしれません。
本体の価格については自分が聞いたワケではないんですが、「25000円くらいを考えています」(※ 正式な発表ではありません)という声が質問コーナーでちらっと聞こえました。例によって最終決定ではないので、どうなるかは蓋を開けてのお楽しみですが、やはり機能に見合った分の値段は求められそうな気配ですね。
でまぁ、価格も含めて、時間をかけたほうがより顧客に喜ばれる製品に仕上がるのではないかなと思うので、可能な限り粘って欲しいなと思うところはあります。余裕を持って3DSを市場に送り出せるように、年末商戦は頑張って欲しいですね。”
I was never too fond about the whole touch gameplay, but it’s good to know that EA is developing a great classic shooter game for the iPhone. I don’t know how it will fair well against the D-Pad or the actual gameplay, but EA is “claiming the game will be 100% true to the original.” There is no price or ETA at the moment.
