I haven’t been posting for a while since I am busy with work, but Windows 8 developer preview was up for download last night. So decided to post my video of how fast Windows 8 boots up on my HP-Mini 210 Netbook. (more…)

Francois demonstrates Jonathan Post’s new experiment by watching 3D without glasses. I’m no eye doctor so whatever device they were using in this video must have been triggering the nerves on the eyelids. We’ll have to see next year at CES 2012. Also I’m not sure how it will compete against the new non 3d glasses required on new mobile phones, and the Nintendo 3DS. But I’m sure this new device will save a lot of battery time. (more…)

First you got virtual vocaloid concerts in Japan, and now you have robots doing the same thing? This is like going to Disney Land watching those puppets, and dolls sing for entertainment, but a lot better.
Moog is probably one of the best companies that make some great fat sounding bass. They finally came out with their new Moog Slim Phatty, which it’s purpose is for portability.
For people getting into music production you better save up to get this bad boy, and you will be glad when you do. This is what I call “The Little Phatty that could”. How is that for a great marketing slogan?
For those of you irritated at such loooooooong urls to copy and paste, there is a new site for you to go to. Google came up with this simple and easy to use url shortener called goo.gl.
This new portable device by “Japan Trust Technology” is meant for business people or for traveling purposes. All you gotta do is plug it into any usb port, close the lid, and your toothbrush will be clean in 6-8 minutes. Kills 99.9% of the bacteria just like magic!
You can visit the link below to find out more. I recommend you get a translator if you don’t know Japanese. They sell this for ¥1980 JPY, which is around probably $23 USD. It also comes in two different colors white, and blue.
I don’t use the newest computer on the block, in fact my PC is around seven years old. An HP Pavilion with a 2.10 GHz processor, 1GB of RAM that I’ve upgraded, and an AGP HD 4650 Radeon graphics card that I recently purchased, and to top it off, I’m still on Windows XP with no Direct X 10. So I often find myself having a hard time as software upgrades, plunging my PC into a bit of a sluggish hell, especially browsers.
Firefox 4 beta addresses a few of the issues I have when using newer software that tends to be ridiculously bloated, and as a browser, I feel it melds a lot of what’s great about Chrome with Firefox.
